Article by: Martin Scholes on 2013-08-28

Two lucky motorcycling enthusiasts are set for a great day out at this year’s 2013 British FIM MotoGP, courtesy of NGK Spark Plugs (UK) Ltd and leading UK garden machinery distributor Henton & Chattell Ltd.NGK - MotoGP winners

Mechanics David Gollins and Matthew Heyward will join thousands of fans at the event at Silverstone on September 1 after their employer Ashley Mowers, of Altrincham, Cheshire, was successful in the promotion held by the supplier of original equipment-quality spark plugs, glow plugs, ignition coils and NTK Lambda sensors.

The competition was open to Henton & Chattell trade dealers who purchased NGK spark plugs in a special promotion to be entered into a prize draw.

Ashley Mowers is owned and run by husband and wife team Nigel and Liz Wright.  Nigel said: “Both the lads are bike enthusiasts and are really looking forward to going to the MotoGP. We always use NGK spark plugs and never have a problem with them so it was great to win the Henton & Chattell promotion.”

The company provides quality products including lawn tractors, pedestrian mowers, shredders and a wide variety of hand held garden tools from many of the leading garden machinery manufacturers.

With more than 25 years’ experience, Ashley Mowers also offers a comprehensive aftersales service with a dedicated and fully equipped workshop, manned by fully qualified mechanics, to handle servicing and repairs of most lawnmowers throughout the year.

It is the second time this year Henton & Chattell has held a promotion with NGK Spark Plugs (UK) Ltd, recently running one for customers to win tickets to this year’s 2013 British Formula One Grand Prix.

Lee Lewing, Internal Sales Manager for the Nottingham based company, said: “It was a very successful promotion which generated a lot of interest amongst our customers and we are already working on further promotions with NGK over the coming months.”
